Failure

I feel like the biggest failure. I graduated from the SBU education department and have no job, no prospects, and no idea where I am going to live. Do I bum off my mom who can't afford it or my grandparents who will make me feel like a failure daily? Everyone says they are proud of me yet, my mom just told me to get a fast food job for now? An SBU education department grad working in fast food is the biggest failure ever! So now I just sit and pray I can sub and find something or someone. Oh yeah did I mention I am 23 and only sort of dated 1 guy ever. He was an idiot in high school that I never dated for more than 2 months at a time and would cheat on me constantly. Yep, I am doing so great in the world right now. 

Patience

Patience. People say I have none. Have they met my mother? She has a lot less than me! A lot! People wonder why I am impatient. It is because of my mother. 

Snow in may?

Welcome to Missouri, if you don't like the weather wait a min. It will change. This week has been proof. The beginning of the week was cool and cloudy. Middle of the week sunny and hot. End of the week snow. Legit snow. I had to clear my car off Friday to get to class and it snowed huge flakes all day! I have a sun burn and it was snowing. This is stupid.

Oh how I love giving up my time to help another student when they do not show up. No I have nothing to do today besides sit her waiting for you. Oh wait, there are a million things for me to do right now. All I ask for is a simple text or a tweet or a Facebook message or something to let me know you can't make it. But that must be to hard between tweeting about not doing your work and going to the lake.

Math Building Computer Lab

Oh yes I love the Math Building Computer Lab. Yes I am sitting in it right now. Yes it is 8:22 pm. Yes I am procrastinating actual homework. Yes the homework is due tomorrow. No I do not understand it. Yes it will be a late night. Yes I want to be working on almost anything else besides homework. Yes I have other things I can be doing. Yes I did get sun burnt from being outside today. No I do not regret it. Yes I am ready for spring, Yes tomorrow it is supposed to rain and be cold. Yes I am upset about it. No I am not as upset as the other Stacey. Yes I have a friend named Stacey. Yes we hang out often. Yes we also work together. Yes we eat lunch with usually just me and Stacey and Ben her boyfriend. Yes I am actually going to get off the computer and do homework now after I grab a sweet tea. Yes I am obsessed with sweet tea. No there is no other tea.

Life

So I have 2 weeks of actual classes and 1 week of finals. I have a million and 8 things to do as well. I also spend most of last week at home with my mother at the hospital. I am so stressed out. I have so much to do and no time to do it. Everyone keeps saying just 3 more weeks and what they don't realize is getting through those 3 weeks seems so impossible.

Defiant

I found out this morning my mother was in the hospital for what feels like the millionth time in the past year. I was also told by my mother not to leave school early. I am planning on going home this weekend anyways. My grandmother then told me not to leave. I tend to not listen to them very well anyways but this was not what I wanted to hear. All I want to do is be defiant and go home. I hate being told what to not do. I hate being told what is best for me. They might not know what the best thing for me is.

Life of a Senior

So I am going to start back with this blog a little more. I have a beauty blog that I love working on. I think I am going to mainly use this blog as a personal blog like it has been from the beginning. I will try for constancy but this will be the first one I skip if I am to busy.

long time no post

I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything on here. I am sorry. However I also know no one is reading this so I am not to sorry.

So I just wanted to catch you up on some of my favorite things:

Spotify- I love this software(?) most of my friends have great taste in music so I love seeing what they are listening to and getting to listen to the full songs multiple times before buying it.

Makeup by Tiffany- I am now addicted to her blog. For the most part she is budget friendly and honest about products.

Sigma bare palette eyeshadow- I saw this palette for the first time on Tiffany's blog when she did a pretty little liars tutorial. I fell in love with the colors and the brush. I ended up splurging on the palette but i don't regret it. It is a great travel palette because of all the browns and blacks and greys in the set.

Ulta beauty supply- this store has the higher end makeup and the "drug store" make up in one place. The one thing I would say about this store is check their drug store item prices most of the time they are higher but it is a great place to compare drug store to higher end.

I am hoping to keep up with the blog a little better but we shall see.

Boys

Oh how I love this topic. However, I hate this topic when it involves the boys mother. Yep I said it. I met this funny mom at camp this past week and I learned that her son hangs out with the family I live with. It gets better, I meet this boy at family night. Needless to say we hit it off. However, his mother keeps harassing us. This is only pushing us away. Oh well.

Ring By Spring!!

OK well this relationship isn't like that. However, 2 of my best friends got engaged last night! I am so excited for them! However it made me realize that my friends are beginning to start the rest of their adult lives. Am I really that old? This also made me think about my current relationship status and thus depressed me. Most of my friends know who they are going to be with, however I have no idea. I trust I will find someone soon. It is just bittersweet.

Professionalism

So as some of you know I work in my dorm office during the school year. It is very relaxing and slow paced to say the least. However, we do at times have to deal with important stuff in which we have to act professionally. However, most people do not seem to understand this concept in today society. They feel that in a low key job they do not have to hold themselves to a professional standard when dealing with important issues, for example a male student wanted to know when one of the female students worked next. Most people I have come in contact with will give this information out. However, this is illegal!! You never can give out the information that a person cannot gain somewhere else. My question to you is why do people not act professionally in any job they work at?

LIFE!!!

I know it has been a long time since I have written anything, however I have been doing some amazing things. I went on a mission trip to Houston TX. I started my spring semester of sophomore year. I have went on an amazing DNOW and met some great people and was greatly encouraged. I hope to write a post on the mission trip and DNOW this week. We are supposed to get a ton of snow within the next 2 days. This will give me more time to write. Well, yeah....

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

Yep I said it. If you don't know today is my birthday. Yes I was born on Christmas day. Yes people still forget my birthday all the time. Yes I don't get to see my friends on my birthday. Yes I am usually on I-70 between St. Louis (the best city) and Kansas City (the not so great city). Do you think this is bad? I can do one worse. I was due on Thanksgiving. Yes I was born a month late. Ask my mother how horrible it was and she will tell you a really long boring story that very few people listen completely to. Well now you have heard (well read) my ranting about my birthday and let me guess you wish you hadn't. I am sorry. The next post won't be this bad. Promise.

Graduation

Today is the day. One of my dearest friends is graduating. It is exciting for him. He gets to go back  home and enjoy his city, however he must leave his girlfriend and some amazing friends behind. How is something you look forward for so long so bittersweet? I am going to miss him. He was always there for me when things were hard. He was one of the few friends here that would break down my walls and be there for me. He was always willing to ask the tough questions. Not only would he ask them but he would listen to my answers. I will miss my d-now buddy! Have fun in the city and work hard. Don't forget about us in Bolivar! Congratulations Jonathan Stahl!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarah Palin's Alaska

I have been watching Sarah Palin's Alaska and the last episode I saw was one of my favorites. The episode was the one with Kate Gosselin. The Palins and Gosselins went camping out in the middle of no where. Sarah, Kate, and Sarah's daughter Willow took a class about how to protect themselves from bears out in the wild. Kate was scared to shoot a gun in a shooting range with the instructor. You also saw how great of a shot Sarah really is. They rigged a fake bear to charge at Sarah when Sarah was unprepared and with the saftey of the gun on and she had to shoot it before it got to her in under 30 seconds. Sarah was able to do all of that and hit it in an instant kill spot. This is extremely difficult. You then get to see the actual camping trip. The Palins went out before Kate and her kids to get the camping area set up. When Kate gets there its is raining. Kate has a horrible time and complains the whole time. Her children however, are having a blast. they are fishing, throwing rocks, and enjoying there time. As the day goes on, Kate decides that it is best for the family if they head back and do not stay out all night. How did she come up with this? The children and the nanny were having a wonderful time. The children were also learning a lot about nature while they were camping. What are some of the deciding factors for what is best for your family? Is it what you want to do or what your children want to do?

Kanakuk Hiring Event

Last night Kanakuk/KAA came to our campus for their hiring event. It was great to get together with people on our campus that love the ministry as well. It was so exciting to see new people getting excited about kamp. It was like a taste of training week in the middle of my school year. It was just the boost I needed to get through the next few weeks.

REALLY???!!!!

So this week I was reading some of my friends facebook statuses and was confused. They say They are Christians, they go to a private christian university, however they get so mad and freak out over the little things such as a person parking a little close to their car so they cant open their door. They freak out when things are not their way, yet if someone doesn't agree with them they are the bad people. Why are people so selfish and intolerant? Why are people so egocentric?

Procrastination!

Why do college students procrastinate so much? A paper is due at 5pm on Friday, when do most college students start the paper? 11pm the night before. What did they do the week before? Played video games, facebook, movie marathons, and out late with friends on food runs. Why do students do this to themselves? Because we all know the amount of coffee, soda, and sugar a college student can put away while working all night. It is not only unhealthy but repulsive.

Fall Semester

The fall semester is the hardest semester. You have no break until thanksgiving then you only have 2 more weeks before finals. Spring semester you have spring break about halfway through, right when you need a break. Do most schools have a fall break? NO! This is the break we really need. This is the reason a lot of freshman drop out, they can't handle it.
